Physiotherapy

From personalised exercise rehabilitation, to hands on therapy that gets you back to the things you love to do.

"I highly recommend this Physio. After experiencing back issues caused by work, the exercise and massage treatment really helped relieve the tension and get me back on track to playing cricket. Professional, friendly, and very effective- thank you for helping me get back out on the pitch."

About us

Hi, I’m Erin, a HCPC-registered Physiotherapist and founder of Q-Fit Physio. I have a passion for musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy, helping people reduce pain, build strength and return to the activities they love.

I hold a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy with Merit from Teesside University and a First-Class BSc (Hons) degree in Applied Sport and Exercise Science from Northumbria University. I also hold a Level 3 qualification in Sports Massage and a British Weightlifting coaching qualification.

My approach to physiotherapy is evidence-based, exercise-focused and tailored to the individual. I believe rehabilitation is about more than reducing pain; it is about understanding your symptoms, building confidence and helping you achieve your personal goals. Through my clinical placements and private practice experience, I have worked with a range of musculoskeletal conditions, including lower back pain, tendinopathies and shoulder problems, alongside rehabilitation following surgery and other health conditions.

Sport and strength training have played a significant role in my life. I have trained in Olympic weightlifting for around four years, competing at the English and British Age Group Championships and representing Teesside University at BUCS competitions. This experience has given me a personal understanding of the challenges of injury, time away from training and returning to sport. Alongside my clinical work, I deliver functional fitness classes at Cathryn Clark Physiotherapy, helping people of different ages and abilities improve their strength and fitness.

Although I have a particular interest in strength training and sport, you don't need to be an athlete to benefit from physiotherapy. Whether your goal is to return to the gym, recover from an injury or make everyday activities more comfortable, I aim to provide supportive, personalised care to help you build strength, confidence and resilience.
